Compton Early College High School proudly celebrated College Decision Day as more than 120 seniors announced the colleges and universities they will attend this fall. The event highlighted not only the achievements of the Class of 2026, but also the school’s continued excellence, with a remarkable 100 percent graduation rate and 100 percent college acceptance rate.

Students shared commitments to a wide range of respected institutions, including University of Southern California, University of California, Los Angeles, University of California, Berkeley, University of Oregon, Northwestern University, University of California, Riverside, University of California, Irvine, California State University, Long Beach, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and many others across the country.

The celebration began with an energetic opening featuring the school band, cheerleaders, and flag team, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. One by one, seniors took the stage to announce their college decisions, met with enthusiastic cheers from a packed auditorium filled with juniors, sophomores, and freshmen.

Following the ceremony, students continued the celebration outdoors with food, games, and activities. The event included a photo booth and interactive experiences such as a mechanical bull, creating a festive atmosphere for students to commemorate their accomplishments with peers and staff.
