CUSD Scholars Earn 13 Medals at SkillsUSA Regional Competition
130 Centennial, Compton, Compton Early College, and Dominguez scholars showcased their talent, creativity, and career-ready skills at the recent SkillsUSA Regional Competition, bringing home an impressive collection of medals and qualifying dozens of students for the next level of competition. The scholars were celebrated at the recent CUSD Board Meeting.

Competing in career and technical education pathways ranging from culinary arts and emergency medical response to digital media and cybersecurity, Compton Unified students earned four gold medals, three silver medals, and six bronze medals, while 29 scholars qualified to advance to the SkillsUSA State Competition.
