Actor From Hit Film "Michael" Inspired Compton Early College Scholars

Actor Juliano Valdi, who portrays young Michael Jackson in the hit film Michael, visited Compton Early College High School as part of a special career learning event for scholars.
Valdi joined the campus as the Celebrity Godparent for the final Saving Our Daughters “Behind the Scenes in Careers” class of the 2025–2026 school year, connecting directly with 6th–8th grade scholars.
During the special session, scholars had the unique opportunity to hear firsthand about Juliano’s journey in the entertainment industry, his experience portraying an iconic figure, and the dedication it takes to succeed on the big screen.
From acting tips to career advice, the conversation inspired scholars to dream big and explore future pathways in film, media, and the arts. Students also received exclusive postcards and got a glimpse into the world behind the camera.
This memorable experience is part of the Saving Our Daughters program, which continues to connect scholars with industry leaders and expand their vision for what’s possible.
