Compton Success Profiles: Kellionna Martin, Centennial High School
Meet Kellionna Martin, a proud graduate of the Centennial High School Class of 2026. This fall, she will begin an exciting new chapter at Alabama State University, where she plans to major in Biology as she works toward a career in the medical field.
While at Centennial High School, Kellionna discovered a passion for healthcare through the school's Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course. The hands-on training gave her valuable real-world experience and sparked her interest in pursuing a future in medicine.

Beyond the classroom, Kellionna helped make school history as one of the founding members of Centennial's dance team, the Sensational Dazzling Dolls. For her, the team became much more than a place to perform—it became a family. She enjoyed collaborating with her teammates, supporting her coach, mentoring others, and helping create dance routines that brought the team together.

One of the people who made the biggest impact on Kellionna's journey was her advisor, whose encouragement and guidance helped her grow both personally and academically throughout high school.

Looking back, Kellionna would encourage her younger self to step outside of her comfort zone. She believes in putting yourself out there, meeting new people, making new friends, and embracing every opportunity that comes your way.

Kellionna also believes education is one of life's greatest opportunities. She encourages scholars to take advantage of every resource available to them and never take their education for granted. Knowing that not everyone has the opportunity to pursue higher education motivates her to make the most of every opportunity she has been given.

Kellionna Martin is another Compton Success Story.
