1,000 CUSD Scholars Experience Disneyland Magic
More than 1,000 Compton Unified scholars experienced a magical day of learning, exploration, and celebration during a special Summer Enrichment field trip to Disneyland through the Disneyland Imagination Campus program.

Scholars from 14 Compton Unified Summer Enrichment schools—including 12 elementary schools and two middle schools—joined principals, chaperones, and Think Together staff for an unforgettable educational experience at the Happiest Place on Earth. The district had more than 1,000 attendees in total, making it one of the largest Summer Enrichment field trips of the year.

The experience was provided free of charge for scholars and included lunch, ensuring every student had the opportunity to participate in this memorable day of learning and fun.

Adding even more excitement, the visit happened to take place on Disneyland's 70th Birthday, giving scholars the chance to enjoy special anniversary decorations, entertainment, and celebrations throughout the park.

The Disneyland Imagination Campus program connects classroom learning with real-world experiences, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in an engaging environment. For many scholars, the trip created lifelong memories while reinforcing the value of learning beyond the classroom.

Compton Unified extends its appreciation to the dedicated principals, teachers, staff, chaperones, and Think Together team members whose support made this incredible experience possible. Through Summer Enrichment, the District continues to provide scholars with meaningful opportunities that inspire curiosity, reward achievement, and create unforgettable moments.
