Centennial Marching Band Scores 3rd Place at MLK Parade and Battle of the Bands

The Centennial High School Marching Band proudly added another achievement to its storied legacy, earning Third Place at the 43rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and Battle of the Bands in the City of Gardena this past Saturday.

Marching with precision, pride, and powerful musicality, the Centennial Apaches delivered a standout performance that resonated with spectators lining the parade route. Their disciplined formations, dynamic sound, and undeniable school spirit reflected months of preparation and a deep commitment to musical excellence. With every step and every note, the band represented Centennial High School and Compton Unified School District with distinction.

Centennial High School’s marching band has a rich history of excellence, tradition, and community pride.
