CUSD Prepares Facilities Master Plan with Community Input

Media Release

Compton Unified School District recently hosted two Facilities Master Plan community meetings—one virtual and one in person at Caldwell Elementary School—welcoming families, staff, students, and community members to help shape the next decade of school improvements. Across both sessions, the District heard from numerous members of the community, gathering valuable input, ideas, and feedback that will directly inform future planning.

The Facilities Master Plan serves as a roadmap for long-term investments across the District, and community engagement remains a critical part of that process. The feedback collected during these meetings will help guide decisions on campus upgrades, innovation spaces, and equitable learning environments for all students.
