More than 50 school and district administrators and staff from across California were welcomed by the Phoenix cheerleaders, marching band, auxiliary units, and CEC staff. Guests spent over an hour on campus, engaging with teachers and scholars, visiting classrooms, the College Center, and the Wellness Center, and exploring programs in robotics, drones, and audio production. Following the visit, the group continued to Compton College for lunch and a panel discussion.

While many attendees were familiar with dual enrollment—where scholars take college courses while in high school—they were struck by the extraordinary impact at Compton Early College. The school proudly maintains a 100% graduation rate, 100% college acceptance rate, and 100% A–G completion rate. An impressive 81% of CEC scholars have earned an AA degree and/or completed the IGETC, and 74 students (61%) double majored, graduating with two AA degrees.
