Compton Unified Honors 2025 Teachers of the Year

Media Release

Compton Unified School District proudly honored its 2025 Teachers of the Year at a special celebration held at Caldwell Elementary School. The event brought together Superintendent Dr. Darin Brawley, CUSD Board Member Dr. Ayanna Davis, and district administrators to recognize the outstanding educators who are making a profound impact in classrooms across the district.

The CUSD Elementary School Teachers of the Year.

The celebration took place during Teacher Appreciation Week, making it a timely and meaningful opportunity to shine a light on the educators whose dedication, creativity, and care uplift and empower students every day.

The CUSD Middle and High School Teachers of the Year.

Each school site selected one teacher whose contributions exemplify excellence in teaching, leadership, and student engagement. These teachers represent the heart of our district and reflect the commitment to educational equity and academic success that drives Compton Unified forward.
