140 CUSD Scholars from 8 Schools Showcase Robotics Skills

Last Saturday, 140 scholars from 11 teams representing eight Compton Unified School District (CUSD) schools gathered at Enterprise Middle School for the SoCal FTC Meet 3. The event showcased the power of robotics programs in fostering innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Scholars from Centennial, Compton Early College, Compton High School, Davis Middle School, and Dominguez High School competed in a series of thrilling challenges designed to test their engineering and programming expertise. The competition highlighted the importance of robotics in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education, emphasizing how these programs prepare students for the rapidly evolving workplace.
