Schools across Compton Unified School District opened their doors to welcome scholars back for of the 2025–26 school year. From Jefferson Elementary to campuses across the district, the excitement was felt everywhere as principals, teachers, and staff greeted scholars with warm smiles, high-fives, and words of encouragement.

The energy on each campus was inspiring. Parents proudly dropped off their children, friends reunited after summer break, and classrooms came alive with curiosity and joy. Across the district, the first day set the tone for a year filled with learning, growth, and success.

The award-winning Compton Unified is excited to have all of our scholars back in school and ready to thrive. With a dedicated team of educators and staff, along with the support of families and the community, this year promises to be one of progress and achievement.
