Compton Unified Welcomes New Principals

Media Release

A brand-new school year has begun at Compton Unified School District, and across all campuses, principals, teachers, and staff are ready to make it the best year yet. Our schools are filled with excitement as scholars return to classrooms and begin new learning adventures.

This year, our award-winning school district is proud to welcome several new leaders who will be guiding and inspiring scholars across several schools. Please join us in welcoming our new principals pictured below with their scholars:

Barbara Zondiros – Anderson Elementary

Caroline Alvarado – Bunche Elementary

Osbaldo Jimenez – Carver Elementary

Aranzazu Garcia – Rosecrans Elementary

Rebecca McKinley – Washington Elementary

Emmanuel Ikeokonta “Mr. Ike” – Whaley Middle School

We are excited about the vision, passion, and commitment each of these principals brings to their new roles. Together, with the support of our entire community, we know this will be a successful and inspiring school year for all of our scholars.
