Compton Unified School District proudly congratulates Superintendent Dr. Darin Brawley on being named a co-winner of the 2025 NAF Janet Linton Leadership Award. This prestigious national honor is awarded in memory of the late San Diego Academy Director, Janet Linton, and recognizes outstanding leaders who serve as mentors and champions of the NAF educational design.

Dr. Brawley’s commitment to ensuring that all students are prepared for college, career, and future success has earned him this well-deserved recognition. His leadership continues to elevate opportunities for scholars across the district and beyond.

Dr. Brawley will be honored at the NAF Next 2025 Celebration Dinner on July 9.
