Rams Host Football Clinics at Clinton, Other CUSD Schools

Media Release

The Los Angeles Rams hosted an amazing football clinic at Clinton Elementary recently. Clinton scholars from all grades had an excellent opportunity to learn about the game and do some exciting drills over the watchful eyes of Rams coaches.

The scholars experienced fun football fundamentals during the training, jumping over foam blocks, throwing and catching balls, and diving into padded areas. They also got to go through a special bouncy house with obstacles that mimicked being in an actual football game.

As an exciting bonus, six of the Rams 2024 Rookie Class attended classrooms, holding question-and answer-sessions with scholars – talking about such things as the difference of playing in the NFL and college, what it’s like being a pro football player now, and the importance of education in achieving a spot on the Los Angeles Rams.

The Clinton scholars enjoyed the unique experience, hands-on skills, drills, and football education from some of the best football coaches and players in the country.

In addition, the Rams have been visiting other schools across the district, holding these exciting clinics for many of the Compton Unified scholars. Thanks to all the support and encouragement from the Los Angeles Rams and their staff with this stimulating program for students.
