23 Carver Scholars Tour TikTok HQ
23 Carver Elementary 6th grade scholars recently had the amazing opportunity to tour the TikTok headquarters in Culver City.
During the tour, the class viewed several sections of the TikTok’s HQ including meeting rooms, individualized sound-proof working booths, green room, recording room, and other areas.
The class also spent time in the technology room listening to speakers and were able to do a 9 Dot challenge completing the TikTok logo. At the end of the tour, the scholars received a TikTok gift bag as well.
The class was selected by 9 Dots, the nonprofit organization dedicated to providing computer science education to underserved communities in Los Angeles, to take the TikTok tour.
TikTok is a short-form video hosting service owned by Chinese internet company ByteDance. Since its launch, TikTok has become one of the world's most popular social media platforms. By touring the company, CUSD scholars were able to learn more about jobs and careers within the popular technology field.
