Dominguez High School Celebrates College-Bound Seniors

Media Release

Dominguez High School recently celebrated a major milestone: over 90% of seniors have met their A-G requirements, making them eligible to apply to four-year UC and Cal State universities!

To honor this incredible achievement, more than 350 Dominguez seniors enjoyed a special lunch from The Habit and received College Bound T-shirts.

For Richard Ramirez, Dominguez’s Higher Education Coordinator, this is the highest number of seniors meeting the A-G requirements in his 10 years at the school. “It’s amazing to see students so motivated to go to college,” he said. “This is the college-going culture we’ve been building.”

The class of 2025 is now busy applying to colleges, with deadlines right around the corner. To meet A-G requirements, students completed 15 year-long high school courses with a grade of C or better. We’re so proud of our seniors and can’t wait to see where they’ll go next!
