Compton Success Profiles: T'Mar Harris, Compton Early College HS

Meet T’Mar Harris, Compton Early College High School Class of 2024 graduate. He also earned an Associates of Arts and Social Studies degree from Compton College. He will be attending Tuskegee University in the fall, majoring in Computer Science and Information Systems.
The biggest challenge T’Mar faced during school was having a lot of responsibilities and not enough time. He juggled his school work, playing volleyball, and working part time at In-N-Out Burger. But he worked hard to put school first in everything he did.
During his senior year, he won the Congressional App Challenge with an app he and a friend designed called Garage.
T’Mar served as a Student Board Member on the CUSD Board of Trustees. The opportunity allowed him to network with the School Board and other district senior leadership and pushed him far ahead in life.
T’Mar Harris is another Compton Success Story.
