Twenty-five students from Carver, Clinton, and McKinley Elementary Schools went on a BSA Department Field Trip to Space X headquarters in Hawthorne, California.

As a company, SpaceX is vertically integrated, building the vast majority of the vehicle on the Hawthorne campus. SpaceX headquarters remains one of the few facilities in the world where you can see an entire launch vehicle or spacecraft come together under one roof.

After the visit, the scholars left inspired and interested in what lies beyond Earth and how they can get involved engineering the spacecraft of tomorrow.
