Meet Dominguez High School Class of 2023 graduate London Shaw. She is attending Cal State Long Beach in the fall to study Computer Science and wants to work in Software Engineering.
She went to King and Emerson Elementary, and Roosevelt Middle School, before attending Dominguez. In the video, you can even see her in action at Emerson in 2016.
London says Compton schools create tenacity, and growing up in Compton makes you strong-willed, optimistic, and hopeful. Her passions include dance, poetry, and fashion design, and she says having a strong academic background has helped her build on those things.
