Intel, Best Buy, and BTMC Build Compton HS New Esports Lab

Media Release

Content creator BTMC recently built Compton High School a brand-new Esports lab to help train the next generation of professional gamers. In order to do this, he teamed up with Intel and Best Buy to get a huge array of gaming parts, peripherals, PCs, and Laptops, along with the help of Generation Esports.

BTCM, whose real name is Edward (call him Ed), is a former osu! Champion who live-streams on Twitch.

The opportunity came as part of a promotion that Best Buy and Intel is running called Intel Gamer Days. To help publicize the promotion, BTMC shopped at the local Compton Best Buy, then brought the computer parts to Compton High School and worked with a number of students to show them how to put the gaming computers together.

In the end, the Esports lab had a number of brand-new PCs, laptops, and accessories for the students to work and game on.

“The goal is to take your Esports team and club to the next level,” Ed told the students as he was presenting them the new equipment.
