FREE MEAL SERVICE UPDATE

April 18, 2020
Students and Youth ages 18 and under can now pick up meals for 2 to 3 days at a time at no cost. Beginning Tuesday, March 31, 2020, CUSD will be moving to multiday meal service.

SCHEDULE

Week of April 20th
8am to 11am
Monday, April 20th – 3 Breakfast and 3 Lunches
Thursday, April 23rd – 2 Breakfasts and 2 Lunches
Week of April 27th
8am to 11am
Monday, April 27th- 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches
Thursday- April 30th- 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches

Meals available at seven school sites:

McNair ES
McKinley ES
Longfellow ES
Rosecrans ES
Jefferson ES
Kelly ES

*Children MUST be present to receive meals*

HOW TO KEEP THE MEALS FRESH
  • Enjoy any prepared food immediately or refrigerate within two hours.
  • Keep frozen food frozen until you are ready to re-heat.
  • Most of our products do not have many preservatives; discard unfrozen leftovers after two days.
  • Food products may have allergens. Please visit our districtʼs website to identify ingredients and allergens.
  • Please wash your hands before handling food, and visit www.foodsafety.gov for additional food safety guidance.
