Advanced Placement Courses Locations: All High Schools The AP Program offers college-level courses and exams that you can take in high school. Taking AP courses and exams in high school could give you an advantage in college by letting you: Earn College Credit and Placement, Save Money and Time, Stand Out to Colleges, & Keep Your Options Open. CUSD offers over 20 different AP classes. AP exams are free and paid for by the district. Compton Early College & Dominguez High Schools both received the AP Honor Roll Award for 2023!

Pre-AP Courses Locations: All High Schools Pre-AP features grade-level instruction intended to give all students the opportunity for growth. Pre-AP offers a focused framework, instructional support, model lessons, classroom assessments, and an optional final exam. PreAP focuses on skills that students will need to succeed in AP courses, college, and careers.
