Maintenance And Operations

The Maintenance and Operations Department is a service department dedicated to the success of the Compton Unified School District. It is the duty of the department to provide a safe environment by maintaining the and enhancing building grounds and the physical infrastructure in a cost effective manner to maintain a sense of pride among students, staff, and the communities in which it serves.

Vision Statement

The Compton Unified School District’s Maintenance Department, is to foster a physical environment for the students, faculty, staff, and community can be proud of. A school’s structure and maintenance, by its very nature, can symbolize hope, opportunity, and stability for students and perhaps inspire a sense of self worth. Thereby inspiring students to have pride in their school. Compton Unified School District’s goal, is to provide clean, safe, and comfortable campuses through out the district. The Maintenance Department will provide a service that communicates a message to the students, that they are respected, and matter to the City of Compton and society. Hopefully this vision will make Compton Schools the envy of the greater Los Angeles area and encourage families to come to the Compton Unified School District.
