Approximately 400 Compton Unified elementary scholars enjoyed a full day of athletic play, teamwork, and inspiration at the Sloane Stephens Foundation Tennis and Soccer Play Day held at Compton High School.

Compton Unified recently held the finals of the Middle School Rocket League Esports Tournament at Bunche Middle School. The event marked the culmination of a competitive season that showcased the growing strength of esports programs across the district.

Samantha Genovez, a proud graduate of the Dominguez High School Class of 2025, is on her way to Mt. Saint Mary’s College this fall, where she will major in Biology. Her goal is to become a cardiologist—an aspiration fueled by determination, resilience, and the strong foundation she built in CUSD.

Meet Hailey Parra, Class of 2025 graduate from Compton Early College High School! Not only did she earn her high school diploma—she also graduated with two associate degrees. This fall, she’s headed to UC Riverside to major in Electrical Engineering.
