Twenty Dominguez High School 10th and 11th grade scholars recently got to watch a live taping of Jeopardy! It was part of a behind-the-scenes look at Sony Pictures Studios, where they explored the world of film and television production, and inspired their future careers.
Anderson Elementary, Compton Early College, Jefferson Elementary, Kelly Elementary, Laurel Street Elementary, McNair Elementary, Tibby Elementary, and Willowbrook Middle School all earned the Educational Results Partnership (ERP) "Star School" Honor Roll designation.

Meet Triana Perez-Ayon, Compton Early College High School Class of 2024 Valedictorian. She will be attending the University of California, Los Angeles in the fall, majoring in Physiological Science. She wants to become a neurosurgeon.
Meet Alonso De La Cruz, Compton High School Class of 2024 graduate. He will be going to college in the fall, majoring in Computer Engineering, because he’s always liked working with technology.
Meet Jason Tillman, Dominguez High School Class of 2024 graduate. He will be attending California State University, Long Beach in the fall. He’s enrolled in the College of Business, to develop his entrepreneurial skills. He hopes to start his own business in the future.
Meet Melany Veliz, Centennial High School Class of 2024 graduate. She’ll be attending U.C. Santa Barbara in the fall, majoring in Media Arts.
Meet Tyjahnae Hodge, Compton High School Class of 2024 graduate. She is planning on going to Woodbury University in Burbank in the fall and majoring in Animation.
Meet Emily Garcia, Dominguez High School Class of 2024 graduate. She will be attending University of California, Los Angeles in the fall, majoring in Public Health.
