Principal's Message

As the principal of Augusta A. Mayo Elementary School, I have the honor and pleasure of working in conjunction with students, staff, parents and the community to ensure that the educational needs of our students are met positively and successfully.

Success is achieved through collaboration, cooperation, hard work and high expectations. The entire school community is involved in promoting the best learning environment possible that will serve the unique needs of our student population. We are very appreciative of the effort made by everyone that advocates a high quality education to our students.

Mayo Elementary School emphasizes high academic standards as well as good citizenship by focusing on appropriate behavior and peace making. We are a staff that is committed to providing an outstanding education to all of our students.
