Principal's Message
Longfellow students and staff began this school year with a “Jaguar Attitude.” The increase in our Academic Performance Index (API) score validated our efforts and could be seen through more comprehensive efforts by Longfellow’s community of students, staff, parents, and volunteers. Our goal is to continue to surpass the growth that we demonstrated the past school year. Longfellow’s teaching and administrative staff focused on using the results of assessments in the classroom, which met the varying needs of learners. While targeting the needs of individual students, teachers were able to provide differentiated instruction. Other staff members, including our cafeteria, office, and maintenance staff, supported the instructional program by individual and group efforts. We look forward to continued progress.
