Kennedy Elementary
Principal's Message
The upcoming school year promises to be an exciting one at Robert F. Kennedy Elementary School. In addition to our continued focus on implementing a standardsbased curriculum and meeting our API growth targets, we now offer dual immersion Kindergarten classes with the long-term goal of all Kennedy students becoming both bilingual and biliterate by the time they reach fifth grade. In 2004-05, we will maintain efforts to improve reading, language arts, English Language Development, and math instruction by offering further teacher training in these areas.
Our School Accountability Report Card Committee takes great pride in presenting the community with this annual report. We have completed an extensive study of our programs, and we wish to thank all participants in this process. This document will provide information on community involvement on our campus, our staff, attendance data, test scores, instructional materials, and schoolwide discipline policies. Our staff members welcome parents and family members to volunteer in our classrooms, in our library, or on the playground during lunch. The children and staff would love to see you helping out at our school. We look forward to your continued support.
