Enterprise Middle
Principal's Message
During the 2003-2004 school year, the Enterprise staff faced a tremendous challenge. Despite the fact that our school has characteristics of a low-achieving inner-city school, we remained dedicated to improving the academic achievement of our students. While our students made some academic improvement, we were most successful in achieving our mission to support their overall development as mature and productive citizens.
Our goal last year was to develop a learning environment focused on high expectations and rigorous standards. Although our students did not achieve the high academic level we’d hoped, our staff was able to help them overcome some of the other problems we faced as an inner-city school. The staff is not discouraged by these challenges and continues to work hard to improve students’ academic skills. We also welcome the help of parents and invite them to continue volunteering at our school. Parents should contact the principal’s office to find out more about our various volunteer needs.
