Clinton Elementary

Principal's Message

The Annual School Accountability Report Card serves as an opportunity for William Jefferson Clinton Elementary School to share with the school community its educational programs. The purpose of this report will be both to inform the community and to provide information regarding pathways that will lead to student achievement and success.

Clinton Elementary is embarking on an exciting new adventure. Our school motto: “Imagine the Possibilities” will serve as our theme for the 2004-05 school year. Parents and staff members are excited to participate in the opening of a new school. Clinton Elementary is the first school built in the Compton Unified School District in thirty-five years. Students are especially happy to attend a state-of-the-art campus where all classrooms are air-conditioned and fully wired to the Internet.

A rigorous, challenging, and researched-based curriculum is being implemented in all classrooms. Students are making progress in reading, writing, and mathematics. Clinton’s core programs are standards-based and meet the rigorous requirements established by the state of California. Students will continue to strive for academic excellence. Our ultimate goal is to have all students perform at the proficient and advanced performance levels in English/Language Arts, Math, and Science by the year 2006.
